We collect information you provide when creating an account (name, email address, profile photo), booking appointments (service preferences, scheduling data), and using our platform (device info, usage analytics). We also collect location data when you use the "Nearby" feature, with your permission.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Provide, operate, and improve the TrenDee platform
Process bookings and send appointment reminders
Send push notifications (only with your consent)
Facilitate payments between clients and salons
Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
Comply with legal obligations

3. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with: salon owners when you make a booking with them; payment processors (Stripe) to handle transactions; and service providers who help us operate TrenDee (hosting, analytics), bound by confidentiality agreements.

4. Push Notifications

If you opt in to push notifications, we store a push subscription token linked to your account. You can unsubscribe at any time through your browser or device settings. We only send notifications relevant to your bookings and account activity.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at support@trendee.app.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data; object to or restrict certain processing; and data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@trendee.app.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Analytics data is anonymized where possible.

8. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including HTTPS encryption, secure authentication via Supabase, and role-based access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via an in-app notification. Continued use of TrenDee after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
